A Broadway Party by Natalia Antonelli

As you can see by the posters, Natalia has been inspired by vintage Broadway musicals, and moreover by Moss Hart's book "Act One", to create an after-the-musical party table with canapes and hors d'oeuvres featuring salmon, caviar, oysters and shrimps.

Vintage touches come in the manner or coloured glasses, made by Natalia, with celebratory drinks of Vodka, Jack Daniel's and Champagne and two elegant and richly decorated cakes on glass cakestands.

The appetizers are available to purchase from Natalia's Etsy shop:

A Note From the Editor - AIM imag August 2011

Dear Reader,

As the year continues to fly by, it is once again my pleasure to introduce the August issue of the world famous FREE AIM imag!

This month AIM members have been looking forward, (rather than backwards into the past) for inspiration for their miniature creations and they have come together to celebrate the 'modern miniature world'...

Until fairly recently the miniature world mostly reflected times gone by and past historical periods.  However, it has become more and more evident that there is a new genre of miniatures, an ever growing interest in creating modern dolls houses and filling their interiors with miniatures which are inspired by current trends and fashions.

Indeed many younger miniaturists (aka our 'next generation' of artisans and collectors) instead seem to prefer to focus on architectural styles or designs which are evident in the 'full size' world we live in today.

So with this in mind, this month AIM members have taken a closer look at this emerging area of the miniature world and as you will see there is simply no reason why your dolls house has to reflect times gone by... instead it can be as 'on trend' and modern as you dare!
